Remy is feeling festive for 🐺Howl-oweeen 🎃

He’s one tired 🥱 puppy from a long day doing show dog stuff 🐶 The latest pupdate is he is passed out 😂 and happy to back with his family 🥰

Horrible conformation 🤣 but 10 outta 10 for spooky 👻 cuteness!

Actual footage of us trying to stack our dogs at a dog show when they suddenly decide to fold themselves up like a lawn chair and forget every single thing they’ve been trained to do. 🐕😂

Weeks of training, countless practice sessions, and then show day arrives and suddenly we’re wrestling a four-legged folding chair with a mind of its own. 🪑💀

Anyone else relate? No? Just us fighting for our lives out here? Okay then… feel free to laugh at our expense. We’ll just be over here trying to figure out how to unfold our dogs. 😂🐾

PS unlike Homer and this lawn chair no dogs are harmed in the slightest, just our own egos from time to time 🤣

Therapy dog visits 🐶

Phoebe dressed up as little red riding hood to visit the littles and Stella went as herself looking like a pretty princess 👑

Show me the rats 🐀

What a great weekend having fun with the dogs, finding rats (or not at some runs lol 😆) and with great company fraservalleyratters

Kiki got her Instinct (photo to come)
Stella got a Q towards her Novice
Phoebe got her Open aka RATO title and a Q in RATS aka Senior

So much fun 🤩and so proud of our little dogs who are always eager to please, wiling to learn new things and to work!

Congratulations 🏆 to everyone and a massive thank you to the amazing team which included Laurie, Erin, judges, volunteers and everyone who makes these wonderful events happen.

PS 2 out of 3 dirty cockers have been bathed/dried, and 1 out of 3 has been groomed fully 😂 RIP my body. Today will involve more grooming to ensure their coats look beautiful again after a messy weekend of much fun.

Very proud of my girl Feebs ❤️ She hunted her little heart out this weekend and got her 🏆 RATO aka Open title in Barn Hunt at Fraser Valley Ratters Barn Hunt Club 🐀 🐀

She also got 1️⃣ Q towards her RATS aka Senior title 🤯 which was completely unexpected as we have never practiced at this level. As seen in this video she found all four 🐀 rats, tunnelled and climbed no problem! Under 2 minutes to take first in her division to take her first Senior Q 👏👏👏 The second run I messed up and she looked at me so sad 🥺 like mom I wanted to play 🙄😂 why’d you call rat when I didn’t tell you 🤦🏼‍♀️

Massive thank you to Laurie, Erin, all the judges and volunteers for making a wonderful weekend

Agreed times a zillion %

🐶 If my dogs can’t go, I’m not really that interested in going
☕️ I’m not everyone’s cup of tea
🗣️ I’m opinionated (extremely)
📣 I’ll always advocate for ethical standards around animal welfare, breeding, training and rescue
💅 I’m petty but extremely loyal and kind
🏆 I’m competitive but love my dogs and want the best for them and this includes finding amazing people and homes for my puppies

🐕 I don’t think my dogs are perfect but I’m a big believer they are and I’m a big fan of their breed, which includes showing people how awesome and underrated they truly are ❤️

No no, yes, umm 🤔 maybe but mostly no no

Guess which cocker was not interested in hunting 🐀 today and which cocker got two Qs and first in class for her Open runs.
