Halloween is only a short time away- It is a time filled with spooky fun, vibrant costumes, and, of course, an array of sweet treats. However, the colorful candies that delight trick-or-treaters can pose significant dangers, particularly to our beloved pets.
Many Halloween candies contain ingredients like chocolate 🍫and xylitol 🍬, which are toxic to animals.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday for everyone, it's crucial to keep all candy and wrappers out of reach from curious paws. 🐾
Consider providing pet-friendly treats to your furry companions, and educate children about the importance of not sharing their sweets with pets.
If a pet does accidentally consume harmful candy, prompt contact with a veterinarian is vital. 👨‍⚕️
By taking these precautions, we can protect our pets from potential harm while still enjoying the festive spirit of Halloween. 🎃

October is Veterinary Technician Month, a time to celebrate the compassionate and dedicated professionals who play a crutial role in animal healthcare. Veterinary Technicians are the unsung heros of veterinary medicine, combining their vast expertise with a deep empathy for both animals and their human companions.

Sam is remarkable at the ability to understand and interperet the needs of our patients, often bridging the communication gap between pets and their owners. Their intelligance and skills go far beyond measure- from monitoring surgeries, conducting lab tests, and providing emergency care.

Their unwavering commitment and gentle touch make them indispensable to both our veterinary team and our patients who rely on their care.
During this month, and every day- we are honoring their hard work and celebrating their contributions to the health and happiness of our beloved pets.

We are so happy you are here Sam!
