Locally owned and operated in Charlottetown, PEI by Renita Gallant. - Excerpt as featured in the Guardian
โIn 2014 we started baking pumpkin-based dog treats to feed to our dog Spot (pictured above left). She was really sick. She had stopped eating. Sheโs been a sick puppy since we got her. Out of desperation, I heard pumpkin was good for their bellies, so I made some pumpkin treats and she loved them. The treats calmed Spotโs stomach, which made HER want to eat dinner. The treats didnโt cure her. Iโm not suggesting that at all. They just kind of brought her around. Spot still has her ups and downs, but is doing a lot better now than she was a few years ago. And sheโs still a fan of the pumpkin-flavoured treats.
โNow we sell those pumpkin treats at the Charlottetown Farmersโ Market on Wednesday and Saturday in spring to fall months and at Blue Ribbon Pet Supply. We sell those treats and many other pet products out of our home year round. I measure dogs and make custom jackets personalized to suit your tastes. The dogs come to my home, and sometimes I go to theirs to get measured!
Products include:
Dog clothing and accessories, such as ties, jackets and reversible bandanas with reflectors
Special orders for weddings, so canine friends can also look sharp on the big day.
Some bandanas that focus on Island themes, featuring potatoes, the provincial tartan, lobster and Anne of Green Gables.
Custom and embroidered andanas, embroidered pillows, and other products
