Dogs were the victims of this war. In the name of our health, the solid flooring industry waged a war on carpets in the 90’s.

We might have had gross things like wall to wall carpet in a massive bathroom of our farm house. But our dogs shoulders and hips were strong!

Conspiracy twist: did the corporate vets use the flooring industry to drive up the number of injuries? Or was this a pet insurance agenda so they could charge $7000 for surgeries in what seems like a victimless crime?

Ok ok, 😂 now that I got your attention.
If your dog sleeps in your bed
Lower it or put up a ramp.
Have a mat near its favourite landing points
If you notice your dog slips on the floor just walking around. All of this is creating micro-injuries that over time can become major mobility issues.
