Sharing this again, as we are so proud! Results are in - of all the test-takers globally, Dr. White was only one of THREE to pass his ISELP exam, and the only person in North America to pass!

ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) is a rigorous certification, requiring excellence in lameness diagnosis, radiology (x-rays), and musculoskeletal ultrasound. As an ISELP certified member, Dr. White demonstrates his skills for lameness diagnosis and treatment, as well as his commitment to remaining up-to date on developments in the field.

The ISELP Certification exam encompasses concepts used in everyday equine locomotor practice. Material is drawn from a series of 8 core anatomic region specific ISELP 3-Day Modules given throughout North America and Europe. A thorough understanding and clinical application of anatomy, pathology, and imaging is required in each of the ISELP examination sections. Each year ISELP facilitates two examinations for those that have completed all of the above requirements.

We are overjoyed to announce that Dr. White is officially ISELP (the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) Certified! Here are some facts about ISELP, so you can learn more about what an amazing accomplishment this is!

🐴 ISELP is a rigorous certification requiring excellence in musculoskeletal ultrasound, radiology (x-ray), and lameness diagnosis
🐴 ISELP certification is incredibly difficult to achieve - the pass rate is very low - last year's North American test saw zero candidates pass!
🐴 ISELP certification is held to a high standard to maintain - Dr. White will have to continue with a high level of continuing education, ensuring he stays up to date on all practices.
🐴 There are only about 130 vets in the world with this certification. Of those, there are only 4 other certified vets in Canada - the closest to us is in Ontario!
🐴 With this certification, Dr. White continues his dedication to bringing high quality lameness diagnosis and treatment to the horses of NS!
