Why the Entlebucher? Reason #3: Entlebuchers have a strong work ethic, and they thrive with active families. They have been bred to herd cattle, pack and pull carts. And although they require some daily activity (we suggest 30mins-an hour), they are unlike other herding breeds that need to be doing a job all day. They are well muscled and agile, and due to their medium haired coat, they do well in Northern parts of the world. They thrive both in the home and outdoor environment; from the farm, mountains and lakes, to the parks and town sidewalks.
