Sito’s Wine Colored Tuxedo Trimmed in Lace “Lacey”

The pressure was on with Lacey’s Sire setting a very high bar and with Lacey’s half sister also having success at her first show.

The AKC Summer Classic was the kick off to Lacey’s Canadian championship journey and what a start we had!

Thanks to Judge Albert Bianchi who was the first to put Lacey on the map with: Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite. Albert Bianchi who latered judged puppy group tried to give Lacey a “group 2”. Unfortunately for us, that is not an option for our shows.

Thank you to Judge Ricardo Saldana who awarded Lacey with another Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Winners.

To Judge Sei-ichiro Ishimaru we cannot thank you enough for the praise of Best Puppy in Breed AND BEST OF BREED!!!

This never would have happened without the generosity of Lacey’s breeder Janet Penner or without the continued encouragement from Kathy McCracken. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I also have to thank Mano Angers for showing Lacey this weekend and for giving me the tips and confidence to show her myself.

Team Boston: Anna & Romy, Angela, Ryan & Carmy, Gina & Portia. Your love of the breed and team spirit was incredible. Congratulations to you and your successes this weekend!

We are grateful to our fellow breeder/exhibitors Susan Milton-Lloyd, Denmark Magnalino Estacio and Donna Butler whose Bostons were outstandingly graceful in the ring.

Despite the temporary downpour, it was another fun day at the Summer Classic

Ms. Lacey was awarded Best Puppy in Breed by USA Judge (Dr.) Albert Bianchi (All Breed)

Later at the Group 6 LDT show, little Ryker used his charm and was awarded Best of Opposite by Australian Judge Katrina Santas.

I cannot thank Mano Angers enough for showing Ryker today and also for your ring side instruction, which surely made all the difference!

In other news, Misty and Ryker again passed their OFA Patella and Heart exams.

We also want to give a shout out to Sam and his owner/handler Rudy Callbeck. It was a true delight watching Sam run the Novice 8 inch division Standard Agility course. You did us Boston fans proud!!

A tough day at the ACK summer Classic as Ryker’s photo suggests. Ryker and Misty had their BOAS test and passed with ease!

Thank you Mano for showing Lacey today. She is a stubborn little one, but she walked beautifully with you.

Congrats to team Carmy taking Best of Breed. Once again he held his own. Congrats to team Portia as well for Best of Opposite. We hope for all the best in Group!
