Academy For Dogs Our agility room is open for public use, at a rate of $15 per hour. Perfect for dogs that need to release some energy!

Obedience classes are offered based on demand (group or private), as well as behavioural consultations for problem dogs.

The Basic Obedience class started yesterday. Everybody made it in safe and sound, despite the slippery roads, after the freezing rain and snow. There are 4 very different dogs attending. The next 6 weeks are going to be interesting...

This is "Kaiser", a 2 year old Boxer; "Konig", an 18 month old Boxer mix; and "Pugsley", a 7 year old Pug mix. Their owners brought them to us for a Behavioural Consultation. To start the modification process, they are all being taught Basic Obedience, and are coming along quite nicely. Once their training is complete, we will concentrate on each individual dog, and their specific needs.

This is "Daisy", a 7 year old Malti-Poo. Her owners brought her to us for Private Training, as she has never had any, and can be a little dominant at times. She is on her 4th week now, and is coming along nicely. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks, with a little time and patience. She will graduate in just a few weeks!
