IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR GONE TO THE DOG GROOMERS CLIENTS.
Hi Everyone. I know you are all anxious to get your pet's groomed, but PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES to read the following to better understand why and how I will have to operate when I open. I will be opening my doors (so to speak) on May 26th, 2020.
As you know Premier Ford has given permission for dog groomers to re-open, but we are NOT OBLIGATED TO DO SO. I have chosen to do so for the HEALTH of my doggie clients, praying the guidelines and protocols will keep both you and my family safe.
There are guidelines issued by Ontario Workplace Safety and Prevention Services for pet groomers and I must follow them for your safety as well as my family's.
By bringing your pet's into my home and salon I am increasing the risk of catching Covid 19 to myself and my family (DOGS FUR CAN CARRY COVID-19). I have implemented STRICT protocols for how your pet will be dropped off and picked up. By strict, I mean you either follow these guidelines or you don't get your pet groomed, easy, peasy. You will be notified of these guidelines when I call to let you know when your appointment will be.
My first 2 weeks open will be dedicated to those dogs who suffer with skin issues and those dogs who I know after 2 or more months will be severely matted over their entire body (and yes I know which ones they will be).
If after 2 weeks the Covid-19 numbers rise, Premier Ford may close us down. If the numbers do not rise, then I will book another 2 weeks of appointments and will continue to operate this way for the unforeseeable future, until a vaccine has been found to eradicate this disease.
Getting an appointment for you dog's grooming will take longer than prior to Covid-19 due to the disinfecting guidelines I must follow prior to and after grooming each dog. I am sorry, but if you want your dog groomer to remain open, these are the guidelines I must follow.
I would at this time like to thank all my clients for your patience and understanding while each and everyone of us get used to living and working with our new normals.
