Day 15 of the Q-uties litter. The Draminski Pregnancy detector from PetTech Solutions went off. The doppler will emit a rapid sound and light to indicate a positive result when amniotic fluid in the gestational sacs is located. Another 10 to 15 days and we can see them on our Ultrasound machine. Until then...

Week 7, day 49/63 Optimistic litter. Vera is doing great and really takes care of herself by laying on her cot and only going out for potty breaks and eating. Lots of activity inside her, causing her to be more hungry. Feeding her now three times a day in smaller portions. But she is already up to 4 cups daily from her regular 3 cups TLC. In one video, you can see one puppy lying on its back. The other video shows the fluttering of the heartbeat. I made a picture showing where to look. Then, I use a heart monitor to check the heartbeat of the pups. She is still in her winter coat and will get a nice trim next week as the temperature outside is warming up. As to the number of pups, it's a handful or more. I do not worry right now as to how many. That count comes after birth. Enjoy
