Lisa's Pedi Paws & Cuts Pet groomer

Permanently closed.
10/21/2025

It is with great sadness, I am permanently closing Lisa's Pedi Paws & Cuts. The final day will be Oct. 25th, 2025. I intended to stay open longer, but I accepted a job in a different city and I have to be there Oct. 27th. I am so sorry for the inconvenience this causes everyone, esp. on short notice. I have let my fellow groomers know that I am closing. Here are the people that I know of that are accepting new clients.
Lolly's Pup Grooming, P.L. Grooming, Pawtvin Grooming, Luxury Canine & Feline Spa, Lil Darling Grooming, 705 Barkery by Ashley, Dee Belle - does large dogs, Canine Divine PetSpa., Paramount Kennels. As for people in the valley, you will have to call around. I believe Em’s Big Paws Grooming is taking new dogs - esp large dogs. I thank all of you for supporting my daughter and I and will miss all of you dearly!!

I can't stress this enough! I've seen too many dogs slip their collars because it's too loose and they run into traffic. So scary!

The importance of properly fitted collars and your pet's safety

Though it may be tempting to take your pet’s collar off when inside your home, it’s important that your pet wears a collar both indoors and out. Accidents can happen when you least expect it and it’s best to be prepared. Just as a smoke alarm is a safety device to protect you and your family, a collar and ID tag is a safety device to protect your pet. You shouldn’t take a collar off your pet any more than you would take the batteries out of your smoke alarm.

How to fit a collar
Adjust the collar for a comfortable, yet snug fit around your pet’s neck. (Middle of the neck - not low on the neck)

See how many fingers you can fit between the collar and your pet’s neck. You should be able to get one finger under the collar for cats, two fingers for dogs.

Finally, check to make sure it’s not so loose that it can slip over the pet’s head.

Proper collar maintenance
Once a month, or once a week for puppies and kittens, check your pet’s collar to ensure it still has the proper fit. Check your pet’s collar for signs of wear and tear as well. If it looks like it is getting frayed and may fall apart, drop by Animal Humane Society to purchase a new one.

This goes for harnesses too
