Please help our birds by preventing window strikes. Note if a bird flies away it is not at all fine...many other injuries from the impact cause issues . No need for fancy stickers...just put sticky notes cut in small strips on the outside of windows. Even a few here and
there can save a life. Please call us if you do get a bird strike, sometimes we can still save them with meds and rest.

Northern Flicker just about ready for release after 5 days. He suffered a soft tissue wing injury from another Flicker picking on him (they are territorial for food). Rest, food, medication, and a warm safe place helped him recuperate from that bully. Ps he loves chopped up strawberries.

Got any whole jack fish to donate? Our juvenile Bald Eagle is getting tired of rabbits and needs nutrient variety. Just put fish in garbage bag and call Mary 306 563 7252. The eagle will thank you!

We are at Young’s World this weekend selling raffle tickets for a beautiful Mother’s Day pot containing the rare heirloom popcorn geranium!!!!! Come on out to support the important work we do and wander this beautiful greenhouse!!!

Getting used to the fresh air and sounds on this beautiful day in the outdoor flight pen. Now needs to work on building up flight strength, agility and prove she can hunt successfully. Has come a long way from being hit by a car, unable to fly to migrate, starving and weak.

Unfortunately the long eared owl, our newest patient was humanely put down. Her wing had several severe complete fractures likely a vehicle strike. May she rest in peace poor little soul.😕
