Luna is officially the last of the Heelers still searching for her forever home 💙

This sweet girl may be entirely deaf, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! Luna is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and already doing amazing with hand signals and visual communication. She’s especially responsive with recall and is proving just how capable she is every single day.

While Luna has a calmer, lower-energy personality overall, she still loves to play and romp around with her foster friends — including the wild child Nova, who she keeps up with just fine!

Luna would thrive in a home committed to continuing her training through hand signals and mental enrichment. She’s looking for someone who sees her abilities, not her disability 💛

We know there are many animals in need, and we wish we could help them all. However, in order to provide the best possible care for the animals currently in our rescue, we must pause accepting new intakes until space, resources, and foster availability allow.

If you have found a stray or are looking to rehome an animal, we encourage you to contact local rescues, animal control, or community rehoming resources for assistance.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. We will provide an update as soon as intake status changes.

Peggy-Sue is a tiny little sweetheart with a huge love for cuddles 💛

This gentle girl absolutely adores attention and would be happiest curled up beside you for a nap or chasing around her favourite feather wand toy. She has such a soft, affectionate nature and truly shines when she has someone to love on her.

Peggy-Sue is positive for feline coronavirus (FCoV), which is actually very common in cats — especially those who have come from multi-cat environments. It does not affect humans or dogs, and most cats with FCoV live completely normal, happy lives with little to no long-term concerns.

For Peggy-Sue, this simply means she does best on sensitive tummy food to help keep her digestion comfortable. Due to her small size, she also has tiny nasal passages, which can occasionally make her more prone to sinus congestion during times of stress. With routine care and monitoring, cats like Peggy-Sue continue to thrive and live wonderful lives.

Please don’t let her diagnosis discourage you — Peggy-Sue truly is a gem 💎 She deserves a loving home where she can snuggle close, play with her feather wand, and finally be spoiled the way she deserves.

🐾 Animal Reiki Fundraiser for CAARS! 🐾

Beginning Sunday, June 14th, Practitioner Sonja will be offering Animal Reiki sessions from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM outdoors in the back area.

✨ 100% of donations will go directly toward helping pay the veterinary bills of Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society (CAARS). ✨

This will be a weekly Sunday offering throughout the summer, weather permitting, giving pet owners an opportunity to support local rescue animals while providing their furry companions with a relaxing and calming Reiki experience.

📅 Starting June 14th
⏰ Sundays from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Pre-booking your appointment is recommended to secure your preferred time, but drop-ins are always welcome! 🤗
