Effective January 15th

As Kitty’s Day Out continues to grow, I’ve taken time to thoughtfully review my services, time, and costs to ensure I can continue providing the calm, safe, and high-quality care your pets deserve.

Starting January 15th, my pricing menu will be updated to better reflect the time, skill, and individualized attention that goes into each appointment. This update also helps support ongoing education, improved tools, and a safe, low-stress grooming environment.

I’m so grateful for the continued trust and support from my amazing clients it truly means everything to me. 💜

🐾 Grooming Tip Tuesday (even though its Wednesday) 🐾

Does your kitty hate being brushed? Try this trick! 🪄

Start small and sweet. Instead of a full grooming session, begin by petting your cat with a soft brush during cuddle time! (just for a minute or two). Focus on spots they enjoy, like the cheeks or neck. Build trust, not tangles! 💜

✨ Bonus tip: Use a soft-bristle or rubber brush to ease them into the routine. And always follow up with praise (or treats 🐟)!

A little grooming a day keeps the mats away.

Temperament: Extra feisty with lots of opinions

Luna strutted into the salon ready to let us know exactly how she felt about her spa day and she did not hold back. From her dramatic growls to her sassy swats, she made it clear she wasn’t in the mood for pampering.

But pampering was much needed, as her full coat was starting to mat. With patience and persistence, we worked our way through her Lion Cut, and she came out looking absolutely stunning. Sleek, soft, and smelling amazing, Luna left the salon proving that even the sassiest queens deserve their glow-up.

Temperament: Tolerant with mild sass

Marma came in looking extra fluffy and ready for a fresh start. She wasn’t matted, just rocking a full coat that needed a reset. She let us work through her Lion Cut calmly, with one little hiss to express her opinion, then settled right back in.

With her adorable snorting sounds and tongue-out charm, she kept us smiling the whole time. Now she’s heading home looking sleek, clean, and oh-so-fancy.

Mood: Sweet as pie until the blow dryer came out!

Jupiter was an absolute angel for his shave and bath, purring away and soaking up the pampering. But the moment the blow dryer turned on, he transformed into a little warrior, convinced he was battling a fierce wind monster! Let’s just say Jupiter’s spicy side earned him a little extra “naughty kitty” fee. But in the end, he left looking fabulous! 😸
