When Andy passed in July of 2024, we had already decided that we would not be getting another dog. We have truly loved having a home with dogs. We are also looking forward to having the freedom to pursue our love of travel despite that o
ur home is just not the same. The idea of opening our home to dogs that need a short-term stay while family are away was an easy decision for us. We know the struggles of finding appropriate dog care and the idea of having little four-legged friends in our home will help us fill our void. As the name "Chosen Little Paws" suggests, we are focused on small breed dogs (up to around 20 pounds), although some exception will be made for larger calm dogs that are non-shedding. We will arrange a meet & greet for all of our potential guests to ensure that the right fit is right for everyone.
