Beach Clean-Up Update 🌊❄️
Due to today’s cold temperatures, flurries, and windy conditions, we’ve decided to cancel this afternoon’s beach clean-up to prioritize everyone’s safety and comfort.

Thank you to everyone who planned to join us, we really appreciate your support! We hope to see you at our January beach clean-up on the 18th under better conditions.

There really is no place like home for the holidays… or maybe even a new home?

This Timelapse shows one of our black eyed hermit crabs trying out a new shell for the season. As hermit crabs grow they move into shells that better suit their size and help them stay protected from predation. We make sure that ou black eyed hermit crabs have lots of difference moon snail shells to chose from as they grow. This hermit is putting their best claw forward this holiday season with its lovely new home.

Join us to give back to the ocean this holiday season by joining us for our December Beach Cleanup!

We will meet at the Ken Forde boat ramp at 2:30pm on Sunday, December 28th.

We will do a short safety debrief and distribute supplies at 2:30 before we head out. We will be supplying everyone with plastic gloves and garbage bags. There will be a limited amount of tongs that can be split among groups. You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you would like.
