Hairballs: What’s Normal & What’s Not 🐱

Hearing that retch sound? Yep, another hairball. But don’t worry—one every week or two is normal.

🐾 Cats swallow hair while grooming. Most passes through digestion, but if too much builds up, it comes back up. In rare cases, a hairball can become too large to pass either way, leading to a dangerous blockage that needs immediate vet care.
