⚠️attention peeps⚠️
So I’ve been holding back most of the melanoid babies because I thought there was something different about them! And after confirming with Strohls and a few other people in the community, I’m confident in saying i hatched Axanthic axolotls!
This was between my old wild female and a copper male pairing. I was expecting wilds and maybe some other hets but never expected axanthics. Axanthics are not in Canada, which is why I thought they were melanoids. Well sure enough they’re not, and we Canadians finally get something exciting … AXANTHICS! 🐋
I will not be offering refunds or trades for anyone who got an axanthic not melanoid just because you actually get the better end of the deal on this one lol. This week i will be going through and adjusting the prices of the babies, that means there will probably be a price hop, but if you need to I can also do payment plans, and you can hold with 50% non refundable deposit! With the babies reaching 7 inches a price reevaluation was in order soon anyway!
There is about 15 or so babies after the holdbacks that i will keep available to the public. First come first serve so do not miss out! We still have our Leucistic clutch growing amazingly as well just as a reminder!
More axanthic babies will be coming in the future so if you couldn’t grab one this time do not fret my friend! They may not all be seven inches in the future but you get it 😂
I hope this doesn’t upset anyone who’s already purchased hoping for a melanoid, but rather makes them excited all over again! Please feel free to send progress pics to the page or to my Facebook group Reptiles and Amphibians Canada ❤️🐋❤️🐋❤️
