It appears for real this time, my form submissions are fixed 🤞.

I had to manually enter information into the app to reply and frankly I’m not sure if they’ve gone through. But I have only received applications from the past week. Going forward they should be coming in normally.

If you are interested in one of the retired adults or Goose, please message me here or you can try to submit a new application. All 3 little gremlins are ready now.

UPDATE : Eros is set for a new family.

Meet a few of the Nightmagic crew that are ready their next chapter. ❤️

I wanted to share a little about each of their personalities because finding the right fit is just as important as finding the right family.

🤎 Sabrina (Retired Queen) – Torti

Our busy bee! Sabrina is the reason my kitchen cabinets have child safety latches. 😂 She loves exploring every nook and cranny, then curling up on your lap or shoulder. She’s good with dogs but can be a bit of a diva with new cats, especially other females. Because she likes to gently mouth when she’s seeking attention, she’d probably do best in a home without young children.

🤍 Jovie (Retired Queen) – Seal Mink Torti

Jovie is the quiet, gentle one. She’s respectful of your space, sweet, and happy just being near her people. She’d likely thrive in a calm home, and if there are other cats, slow introductions would be ideal. Dogs… she hasn’t quite made up her mind. 😄

❤️ Eros (Sabrina’s Son) – Seal Mink with White

Eros is pure chaos in the best way possible. The moment you walk into the room, he’s attached to your leg and ready for his next adventure. He’s incredibly affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and would love another playful cat to keep him busy. Our dogs don’t phase him one bit.

🤍 Goose (Jovie’s Son) – Red Point

Goose is much more like his mom—calm, easygoing, and sweet. He’s a sturdier-built boy who enjoys attention without quite as much chaos… although Eros is slowly teaching him otherwise. 😂 His twin brother, Duck Duck, will be making his debut soon once he’s finished growing. The vet just wanted Duck to grow a wee bit more before neutering.

💙 If you’d like to learn more about any of these personalities, feel free to send me a private message. We’d be happy to chat.

I think… emphasis on think… I finally fixed the issue with our Wix submissions mysteriously disappearing. 🤞

After digging into it, it looks like we may have stopped receiving applications sometime around February. If you submitted one since then and never heard back, there’s a good chance it never actually made it to me.

I sincerely apologize if you were waiting on a response. I wasn’t intentionally ignoring anyone—I simply never received your application.

If you applied since February and are still interested in one of our cats or kittens, please send me a PM or submit a new application. I’m keeping a close eye on everything to make sure it’s all comes through properly this time.

Thank you for your patience, and fingers crossed the mystery has finally been solved! 🤞

Miss Kiva is officially off to her retirement home. ❤️

It has been bittersweet saying goodbye to this beautiful girl after everything she’s given to our program. She has certainly earned a life of being spoiled, loved, and doted on.

Fingers crossed she doesn’t live up to her “Diva” nickname and settles right in with her new Selkirk brother. 😆 From everything I’ve seen, I think she’s going to be very happy.

Once a Nightmagic girl, always a Nightmagic girl. Wishing you the happiest retirement, Kiva. We’ll miss you more than you know. 🤍

🌞 Summer adventures can be fun for kittens—but only when safety comes first.

As the weather warms up, many new kitten owners start thinking about harness walks, backyard playtime, or building a catio. While these can be wonderful forms of enrichment, they also come with risks if not done properly.

The downside of having a house full of toys for our kitten packs? 🤦‍♀️ Our own cats are convinced every single one belongs to them.

I swear I wake up to 20+ catnip kickers scattered all over the house on a regular basis. Every morning is like waking up after a tiny feline party… and apparently I wasn’t invited. 😂🐱

At least I know the kittens approve of our toy selection! 💙

Since the babies are a few days old now, I figured it was time to make their official litter announcement!

Prairieheart Opalescence and Wildewonder Orlando have welcomed their very first litter together, and we couldn’t be happier with these little ones.

This litter consists of F2 Devon Rex × British Shorthair kittens:

🧡 1 red tabby male with a curly coat
🤍 2 pointed females with straight coats

It’s still a little early to know exactly which point colors the girls will be, but we’ll keep everyone updated as they continue to grow and develop.

Since I’m really just the middleman in this outcross, and these beautiful cats came from two wonderful catteries—Prairieheart in Saskatchewan and Wildewonder in Alberta—I thought it would be fitting to give this litter an Alberta/Saskatchewan nature theme for their names. It seems like the perfect way to honor where each side of this pedigree came from. I can’t wait to introduce each of these little ones as they grow!

Welcome to the world, little ones! 🩷🐾

We may or may not be welcoming some new little babies into our home right now… 🥹💕

Momma is doing wonderfully, and we’re giving her all the peace and quiet she needs while we keep a close eye on everyone.

If all continues to go well, we’ll be sharing more updates (and plenty of tiny paws, noses, and adorable baby photos) very soon. 🤍

Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss this journey! 🐾

Just a quick update!

If you submitted an application through my website within the last few months (I think around the last 3 months), I just discovered they don’t appear to be coming through to my app. The only notifications I’m receiving are for new subscriptions, so it looks like the application submissions are getting lost somewhere.

I’m going to remove the Subscribe option from the website while I troubleshoot the issue, as I’m wondering if it’s interfering with the application notifications. Unfortunately, I don’t have my computer set up at the moment, so I won’t be able to make that change until a little later.

If you messaged me directly before the Subscribe option was added to the website, those messages are still coming through just fine. The issue only seems to affect newer website applications.

If you’re interested in any of the upcoming retired adults or kittens and you’ve submitted an application recently, please send me a private message here on Facebook. I promise I’m not trying to ignore anyone—I simply haven’t been receiving your applications!

Thank you for your patience while I get this sorted out. ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out about Kiva! ❤️

At this time, Kiva is pending her new retirement home in Calgary. I’m so grateful for all of the messages, shares, and interest she received.

If you had your heart set on Kiva, don’t worry—we’ll have more retired adults looking for their forever homes soon.

Jovie and Sabrina are both scheduled to be spayed at the end of July and will be ready to begin the next chapter of their lives. Sabrina is currently pending with a returning Nightmagic family out East, who have first right of refusal. I also have a wonderful backup home interested in her if those plans change.

That means Miss Jovie will likely be the next retired adult available. ❤️

Jovie would do best in a quieter home where she can settle in at her own pace. She has never been particularly attached to having feline companions—she tolerates other cats but doesn’t seek them out. She would likely thrive as an only cat or in a calm household with laid-back feline friends.

That said, retirement can bring out a whole new side of our cats. We’ve already seen Kiva become much more outgoing after being spayed, so it’s very possible Jovie will continue to blossom once she’s retired from the breeding program as well.

We will also be listing Jovie’s twin boys soon! They have been growing beautifully, and we’ll be sharing more information and photos of them shortly.

As always, our retired adults are placed where we feel they’ll be happiest for the rest of their lives. Finding the right home is far more important than finding the first home. 🩷

P.S. The cats featured in the graphic are AI-generated and are not Kiva, Jovie, or Sabrina. I just needed a quick graphic to post this update. 😊 I’m hoping to dig out my camera gear and tablet later today so I can upload actual photos of Jovie, Sabrina, and the boys for everyone who has been asking!
