Jessica Hall
CHA Master Instructor & Certified Examiner | Equestrian Coach
With over 40 years of riding experience and more than 20 years of coaching, Jessica Hall brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a lifelong passion for horsemanship to her teaching.
Jessica began riding at a very young age, but her equestrian journey truly took shape through the Canadian Pony Club, where she developed a strong foundation in riding and horsemanship. She later returned to the organization as both a coach and examiner. Throughout her competitive career, Jessica competed to the Preliminary level in Eventing, nationally in Dressage, and up to the 1.25 m in Show Jumping.
Over the past decade, Jessica has shifted her focus away from her own competitive pursuits to dedicate her time to leading the Tudor Equestrian Lesson Program, where she coaches over 100 riders each week in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper disciplines. Her passion for developing riders and fostering a strong foundation in horsemanship remains at the heart of the program.
Jessica is a Master Instructor and Certified Examiner with the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), travelling throughout North America to evaluate and certify aspiring riding instructors. She takes great pride in contributing to the education and professional development of fellow equestrians.
A firm believer that great coaches never stop learning, Jessica has pursued training opportunities in New Zealand, Mexico, Italy, Ireland, and Portugal. These international experiences have broadened her perspectives, introduced her to diverse training philosophies, and reinforced her belief that there is always something to learn from every horse, rider, and instructor.
Her coaching philosophy emphasizes correct fundamentals, rider confidence, independent thinking, and, above all, the welfare of the horse. Jessica believes that every rider, regardless of discipline, experience, or competitive ambition, deserves quality instruction, thoughtful guidance, and the opportunity to reach their individual potential.
Never one to shy away from a new challenge, Jessica has recently taken up polo recreationally—a sport she thoroughly enjoys, although she is quick to admit that her enthusiasm currently far exceeds her skill level!
For Jessica, horsemanship is a lifelong journey built on curiosity, respect, and a willingness to keep learning. After more than four decades in the saddle, she firmly believes that the horses still have plenty left to teach her.
