Our pets love to get outside while it is nice out too. If you plan on letting them stay out for a while, make sure they have a shady spot to escape to and plenty of access to water. It is best to restrict exercise during peak sun times and take them out early in the morning or later at night when it is cooler.

As the weather is getting warmer and you are out enjoying the sunshine, please be mindful when walking your pets on asphalt. It typically can get twice as hot as the temperature outside and increases the chances of your pets burning their paws in a very short time. You can avoid this by walking early in the morning or when it cools off in the evening. Also, try walking only in grassy areas to protect those paws🐾.
