MEET ROSIE! Yes! Another Border Collie to grace your pages. Rosie is very special and has humbled my understanding of dog behaviour. Rosie has damage to one side of her brain. This causes her to be fearful reactive to many moving objects and loud noises. She is a happy and otherwise healthy dog, with even more exceptional qualities to love. Her demeanor can be a little quirky as she walks with directional confusion and sometimes gets stuck in circles going only one way. Be still my heart, she is the sweetest and I’m so grateful to have her show me her unique lifestyle.

ANOTHER FUN FACT about Rosie… after a DNA test it was discovered that she is actually only 20% Border Collie 😮 Can you guess the other 80%? HINT IS ON THE SECOND SLIDE - her only marking!

Zeus tries agility! Sooooo….this was humbling! I took him there before to familiarize him with the equipment. He is so advanced in his obedience I thought for sure he’d be a “shoo-in” for agility….butttt he was not havin it! The texture of objects and height from ground challenged his willingness to get his high value treat through the lure. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!! Oh, this going to be fun 😁
