I’m putting some feelers out!

Does anyone know someone - or maybe it’s you - who might be interested in becoming a guardian home for one of our future German Shepherds?

A guardian home is a pretty special opportunity. Our guardian dogs live with their guardian families as loved family pets while remaining part of our breeding program for a period of time. Once they’ve finished their role in our program, they’re fully retired to continue life with their family.

We’re looking for someone who:
🐾 Lives within about 2 hours of Three Hills/Drumheller
🏡 Wants to provide a loving, forever home
❤️ Is excited about working closely with us and being part of our breeding program

Finding the right home is incredibly important to us, so we’re taking our time to find the right fit for both the dog and the family.

Six weeks with the 🌾 Farm & Prairie litter 🌾

This litter has been such a special one for us — it’s Willow’s very first litter, and she’s been calm, attentive, and so natural with her puppies from the very beginning.

Now that the puppies are six weeks old, their personalities are really starting to shine. They’re sweet, confident, incredibly people-focused, and already showing the calm, affectionate temperaments we strive for in our program. These puppies have been raised right alongside our daily life, making them wonderfully suited for family homes and close companionship.

We named them the Farm & Prairie litter to reflect the wide open spaces and farm life they’re growing up in.

It won’t be long before these little ones head off to their families, and we’re soaking up every moment with them while we can. 💛

Protective when it matters. Calm where it counts.

Many families are drawn to the loyalty and natural protectiveness of the German Shepherd, but feel unsure about bringing home a dog with extreme working drive.

Long haired German Shepherds are not a separate temperament category, and coat length alone does not determine energy level. Temperament is shaped by genetics, parent stability, and intentional early development.
