💍 A Special Day at Bowness Animal Hospital 💍

Bowness Animal Hospital will be closed on Saturday, September 5th as we celebrate a very special occasion — our manager, Liz, is getting married! 🤍

Our entire team will be taking the day to celebrate this wonderful milestone with her and her fiancé. 🥂✨

We will reopen with our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th, following the Labour Day long weekend.

Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy and may be used as part of a treatment plan to support comfort and healing in certain conditions.

And those adorable little goggles? 🥹🕶️🐶 They’re used to help protect your pet’s eyes during treatment!

Our veterinary team can determine whether laser therapy may be an appropriate addition to your pet’s individual treatment plan. 💙

This little kitten is only 16 weeks old, but she’s already running the show. Small in size, big on personality—Zoe is endlessly curious, a bit mischievous, and always on the move like she’s got places to be and secrets to uncover 🐾🌴

Dogs aren't just loyal—they may be genuinely kind, too! 💙

In a study published in Scientific Reports, researchers found that dogs would voluntarily provide food to another dog without receiving any reward themselves—especially when the other dog was a familiar friend. The findings suggest that dogs can show prosocial behavior, meaning they may help others simply because they want to. 🐶✨

Another reason our furry friends have earned the title of "human's best friend!" 🐾💕
