A MikaSu Birmans follower has unfortunately experienced what appears to be a scammer site of Birman kittens and retired adults. The name of the questionable site is Bliss Creek Birmans. The follower was told by the cattery they were located in Edmonton, Alberta and made arrangements to meet with them and see available kittens and retired adults. When the follower arrived in Edmonton, they were ghosted by the site.
I have tried to research this cattery/site and have come away with many impressions that alert me to scamming. When a site will only provide you with information by “pm-ing” be wary. I wonder why so secretive? When someone is told an extremely low price for their kittens remember, “If it seems to be too good to be true”, is usually isn’t true. When a site tells you it has several kittens immediately available, be wary. Most reputable Birman breeders have wait lists of 1 to 2 years.
I cannot stress enough to you to be very careful when looking for a Birman. Ask lots of questions. Be cautious. Ensure the cattery is registered with TICA and/or CFA. Ask for proof of everything. Do not make impulsive decisions!

NO Lilies, if you have cats!!!! Lilies are deathly poisonous to cats. Even just a sniff of the pollen or biting into (not even consuming) a leaf can be fatal. The flowers are lovely, but not worth risking your pet's lives. PLEASE avoid lilies in your home if you have cats!
