Kennel Cough is circulating around the city, and we want to keep everyone informed and protected. Our facility is sanitized daily, with high-quality air filtration systems and epoxy-sealed floors! Standards we take seriously to keep your pets safe. Even with these precautions, respiratory bugs can still spread, especially during busy seasons.
Even fully vaccinated dogs aren’t completely immune. The vaccine helps a lot, but it’s not 100% effective. Symptoms can take a few days (or even a couple of weeks) to show up, and sometimes they seem to disappear before your dog is truly in the clear. During that time, they may still be contagious.
🐾 If your dog is coughing, hacking, gagging, or sounds raspy, PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME. 🤎
Just like kids in daycare, one sick pup can pass it around quickly. Some dogs bounce back with rest, while others may need a vet visit or medication. If you’re ever unsure, your veterinarian can guide you.
