SEA has a well bred warmblood youngster available, ready to find a new home! Tanner is a 2 year old gelding with nice movement and temperament, and is being sold due to breeder’s retirement.

USA here we come! We have 5 riders competing at the Spokane Spring Horse Trials this weekend, and our jump coach Carlie will also be competing! Fingers crossed that the weather will be nice!

What a great weekend at the Ice Breaker clinic at Alhambra Stables! All girls and their horses had a great time and learned a lot, bring on the events!

Outdoor season has started! We are at Spruce Meadows this week, where our riders Zoe and Reagan competing in the 0.90m, under the fabulous tutelage of our awesome jump coach Carlie Wells, who has her horse with her as well. Zoe and Reagan tried their best to match the clock today, but there was quite the competition, which landed them outside of the ribbons. Coach Carlie managed to take a fourth place home!
Onto more great rounds this weekend!

Unfortunately, when merging pages, one of them will cease to exist and will be deleted forever, which is kind of scary! December has come, and it has started with a big announcement!

For over 22 years, Sarah and Shayne have built up Simpson’s Equine Activities to the program it now is. What started out with just a few ponies has grown into a very successful and renowned equine riding program with quite a bit more horses! But even tho neither of those two are that old yet, they are ready for retirement, and feel that now is the time to do so.

Simpson’s Equine Activities is very proud to announce that they have found a successor to take over the reins. Per January 1, 2026, Kim Vos will be stepping in as the new owner of SEA. Kim is a well known member of the equestrian society in Alberta and outside of that, travelling the country to judge and coach at clinics, and she has been one of our coaches for a couple of years already. We are confident that Kim will continue to run and grow this program for many years to come!

Dear Kim, congratulations on this accomplishment!

Simpsons Equine Activities is so proud!!! Tonight was the AHTA Banquet and Awards night , and our team brought home so many ribbons!

Huge Congratulations to:

Ayana and Reggie placing 4th in Regular EV75
Cady and Donte placing 6th in Regular EV85
Kalina and Elantra placing 5th in Regular EV85
Lola and Nick placing 2nd in Regular EV90

But the biggest congratulations go to:

Chloe and Rhett bringing home 1st place in Regular EV75
And
Cady and Donte coming out on top in Regular EV90

Coaches Anna and Carlie also did great. Anna placed 6th in Open EV100 and Carlie came in 2nd in Open EV90!

What a great experience to ride at the Royal West! Last week our coach Carlie took a few of our girls to the Stampede Grounds. A very impressive indoor venue, which created some challenges for the horses. There was so much to see!
Everybody worked hard to do well, sometimes with success, sometimes with some big learning moments, but overall a great time!
