Little Charlie is the warmest and most fashionable pup out and about today in her cute pink puffer vest! This super smart girl learned how to shake a paw in about 1 minute in clinic and LOVED all the attention and cookies 🩷

🐈‍⬛ Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛ Black cats have lower adoption rates partly because of old superstitions related to their colour and bad luck. Obviously those superstitions aren't true in the slightest and some of these black cats are the luckiest animals we know! Here's Loon, a staff rescue pet, living her best life 🖤

We love the moments when we get to hang out with cute puppies! Everyone meet Rumi, a 2 month old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon! She's such a sweet girl and we can't wait to watch her grow up 😍🐕

Happy National Black Dog Day! This day was created in 2011 to help raise awareness of the issue that black dogs have lower adoption rates in shelters due to their colour! Here's a recent pic of Oban, Dr. Tolton's new rescue pup 🖤🐾 Share a pic of your black dog below! 🐕

Moose came prepared with his best puppy-dog eyes, and let's just say... he negotiated a pretty sweet deal. 🐾😊

We absolutely love visits from our furry friends, so please know that all pets are welcome to stop by anytime! Even if it's just to say hello and collect a well-earned treat! 🐶🐱❤️

Now we want to see your best treat negotiators! 📸 Share a photo of your pet giving you their best "I deserve a cookie!" face in the comments. We can't wait to see all of those adorable expressions!
