After selling his tech company, Canadian millionaire Marcel LeBrun decided to turn his success into something far more meaningful. He invested $4 million of his own money to create 99 fully equipped tiny homes for people experiencing homelessness in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
These aren’t temporary shelters — they’re permanent, dignified homes complete with full kitchens, bathrooms, heating, and even solar panels. The goal: provide stability, independence, and a real foundation for rebuilding a life.
The project, called 12 Neighbours Community, is much more than housing. It also features:
• A community coffee shop
• A teaching kitchen for hands-on skill development
• Resident-led small businesses and workshops
• Support services to help people move toward long-term stability
LeBrun’s mission is simple but transformative: restore dignity, create opportunity, and change lives — one tiny home at a time.
