Very sad loss of a great human 😭

He was always along for the ride, wherever it took him.

It is with tremendous sadness that we share the passing of our friend and long-time Canadian Animal Task Force volunteer, Jeff.

If you had the privilege of knowing Jeff, chances are he made you laugh. Really laugh. The kind of laughter that sneaks up on you until your cheeks hurt and tears are rolling down your face.

He carried a smile that seemed to follow him everywhere, a willingness to help with absolutely anything. No matter the task, no matter the weather, no matter how long the day, Jeff was always ready to jump in — and always happy to be alongside his fellow volunteers and friends.

He travelled from British Columbia time and time again to volunteer with the Task Force because he believed in helping animals and the people, too. In doing so, he became part of our family.

Clinics won’t be the same without his elaborate interactive cart carrying displays or that unmistakable smile.

To Jeff’s family, friends, and everyone mourning this incredible loss, please know you are in our hearts.

Thank you, Jeff.

Every conversation.
Every muddy boot.
Every helping hand.
