A huge thank you to everyone who braved the monsoon at Long Dog Ranch (aka Soggy Dog Ranch) this past weekend. Despite the brutal weather, we still handed out 18 titles over the 2 days! Congrats to everyone who came out with their dogs; they definitely showed us that they still want to play no matter what nature has in store.

And, of course, a massive thank you to judge Kim and apprentice Riscann who had to deal with the weather the most, but they kept things flowing, and we were done before 4pm each day.

Fingers crossed for better weather at our August trial…WHICH OPENS THIS SATURDAY!!! 😊

My last PSA before the trial this weekend...

This goes for your dog’s equipment too, of course!

We will be running rain or shine…stopping only for lunch, and if a storm passes through and it’s not safe to be outside. Make sure you show up on time for the briefing and that you have the Signal app ready to go so we can communicate any changes (or find a buddy who can tell you). Class orders will be determined each morning based on the weather forecast for the day…and the forecast has changed more times in the past few days than I’ve had to mow the lawn in the last few weeks, which is a lot.

Good morning everyone, I'll be processing and sending entry confirmations for March 22 today. At a glance it looks like we will have a wait list. So please remember that your entry fees are due 24 hours from the timestamp on your confirmation email. And you will receive an email whether or not you got in, so please if you don't receive one later today check your junk mail to be certain.

I'll leave the entries open until the closing date for those who still wish to get their name on the wait list.

Thank you to everyone who came out to have fun with their dogs today at our first trial of 2026. And thanks to judge Val for the fun hides on her first official judging assignment!🐾
