Roo is here to give you some tips to keep our furry friends safe this Easter🐣🐰

🌸 Keep all pets away from chocolate!
Pets will sometimes find chocolate hidden around the house or in Easter baskets. Avoid any chocolate or candy from being ingested. Anything containing xylitol is toxic to pets!

🌸 Keep our furry friends away from lilies. They are poisonous even in small amounts. Lillies are a concern for acute kidney failure in cats.

🌸 Easter grass/decorations!
The plastic grass in Easter baskets can be appealing to our pets. If ingested they can cause a gastrointestinal obstruction which can need surgery.

🌸 Table scraps and bones
Resist the urge to share table scraps with our pets. Too much fatty food can cause upset stomachs and even pancreatitis. Chewing bones can also lead to broken teeth.
