Welcome to the pack, Alice 🐾

Alice came to us first for boarding, and because she’s a nervous rescue, we slowly layered in private walks to really get to know her. With time, patience, and teamwork with her amazing humans, she’s grown so much. 🤎

She is the sweetest girl, with those soft honey eyes, bilingual of course, lives for companionship, her couch, and keeping a very close eye on the squirrel population 🐿️

Through our enrichment private walks, her confidence has built beautifully. She’s reacting less when passing other dogs, and we’ve been working on walking her without her gentle leader. Big wins.

Now she knows us, trusts us, and waits by the door when we come to walk her… which never gets old.

We live for transformations like this. We love you, Alice!

Wedding Wednesday 💍🐾

Meet Jennifer & Jonathan and of course their dog Sunday🤍

 Like many couples, everyone they trusted to care for their sweet pup Sunday was already part of their guest list… so they called us at The Dogmother to step in.

On the big day, we arrived at the bride’s parents’ home to care for Sunday walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of love. We kept the bridal party in the loop with real-time updates and photos! So Jennifer could stay fully present, soak in every moment, and celebrate without worrying about her girl.

And can we talk about this bride?! That dress paired with a delicate crown, pure ethereal, fairy goddess energy ✨

Meet Finn 🤍 one of our beloved senior clients and the tiniest little woodle.

Finn is the sweetest boy who loves to window watch, enjoy his snacks, nap, and simply hang out. He recently had his very first stay with one of our hosts, where he got to enjoy a calm, clean home that was safe and easy for him to move around in as a senior with some health needs.

While his family was away at a destination wedding, Finn became part of the family here. He soaked up all the cuddles, fresh air, and one on one attention he deserves.

We specialize in one on one care, offering personalized stays that are tailored to your dog’s needs, routines, and personality.

We are already looking forward to Finn’s next visit 🤍

💛 Review of the Week 🐾

Bowie joined us as a fresh little puppy, and week by week we got to watch him grow and change right in front of us 🐾

Learning from the pack and the dogs around him, he truly flourish, building confidence, social skills, and of course… a love for running and swimming.

His owners put in the work with training, and we focused on reinforcemnt and enriching his daily life and that combination is everything.

Now Bowie’s reached the age where he joins our group periodically, and the rest of the time he gets to go to work with his dad everyday, because he’s truly the goodest boy.

Zara 🤍

This month we welcomed Zara, who stayed with us while her family was away on vacation. She may be tiny, but she’s a mighty little white fluff ball full of personality and guaranteed to make you laugh.

Zara runs a tight ship and is always ready for belly rubs and treats. She always smiles with her teefs, and had best time making new friends, we’re already looking forward to her next visit. 🐾

✨ Wednesday Weddings: Pet Chaperone Service ✨

Did you know we offer a wedding chaperone service so your dog can be part of your big day stress-free?

For Anisha & Vishal’s beautiful traditional multi-day celebration filled with family events, we assisted the bride and her family by preparing Charlie for each occasion. From grooming and outfit changes to walks, feeding, break and coordinating with the planner and photographer, we ensured he was photo-ready and exactly where he needed to be on schedule and calm.

Charlie is truly the heart of this family, so it was only fitting he be included every step of the way. He even stayed overnight with us leading up to the wedding so we could manage his care, and itinerary. Watching Anisha and her sisters get ready adorned with gems in her pink colour pallet alongside Charlie, they were all stunning. 💕🐾

Even we tried to match Charlie as his plus one!

Charlie loved the experience so much he’s now one of our regular weekly walk clients!
