Here’s the paradox.
Sarah means more to me now than if she had stayed.
Because she left, I got therapy.
We talk about things now instead of yelling.
The kids got some therapy too.
They know statements like “I love you, but…” are false.
They know that they don’t deserve to be yelled at or put down.
It hurts like hell to be without her, but wouldn’t have changed if it didn’t.
Sarah leaving was a gift because it hurt so much.
Realistically I’m forever in debt to her.

Where are “the poor and afflicted”? And why are they not at the church?
Unless it’s more of an exclusive club.

Ever sat in priesthood or relief society and hear
Them speak of “gods children” like it only applied to them?
Every single time.
