One of our beloved senior patients, Bax, was stolen from a front yard in the Capitol Hill area.
He is a perfect senior boy. He is 12.5 years old. He needs regular medical care. He is beyond beloved by his human. His family is completely heartbroken without him.

To whom ever has taken him, he can be dropped off at our clinic at any time, just walk him through the doors, no questions asked.
We are open Mon-Fri, 830-530 and Saturday 9-430.

To our other clinic friends, please share this post so we can get Bax back to his family.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Bax is home safe & sound after 1 days, 15 hours :)

"BAX HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE!
Thank you to everyone for your support, concern, and help during the search for Bax. I’m very relieved to share that he was surrendered anonymously very late last night. He looks traumatized but is doing well since being .
I truly believe the widespread attention on social media, along with RCMP involvement, played an important role in pressuring this person to surrender him. Thank you for sharing, spreading the word, and helping in the search.
To say we are both shaken and exhausted would be an understatement. Thank you for your understanding as we take some time to rest and have a bit of privacy while we process everything."

Beaky the umbrella cockatoo had an appointment for his senior wellness exam and bloodwork with Dr. Meyer, and let’s just say, he completely stole the show 🥹🤍

At 30(ish) years young, Beaky is the definition of a love bug. After his appointment, he soaked up all the cuddles and pets from Simome like the total sweetheart he is. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Meet Helios, an 8-year-old Sun Glow Boa, who came in for a wellness check. Sun glow boas are beautiful boa constrictors known for their vibrant coloration and calm temperaments — and Helios was a perfect example of both!

How to bring your puppy to the vet hospital, stress-free🐾

🦴 1️⃣ Bring Treats

High-value treats are your best friend when it comes to creating positive associations. Choose something extra tasty and reward your pup for being brave during the exam.

🧸 2️⃣ Pack a toy from home

Bring a favorite toy. The familiar scent can offer a sense of security in a new environment. Some puppies even like having a chew toy to stay busy while waiting—just make sure it’s something safe and vet-approved.

🎉 3️⃣ Make it a celebration

Your energy matters! Stay calm and encouraging. Praise your puppy for every brave step, from walking through the door to sitting nicely on the scale. Use plenty of phrases like “Good job!” to build their confidence.

We all melted when Kira, the cute 14 week old Persian kitten, came to visit us for his wellness and vaccine appointment with Dr Tailor! 🤩 Isn't he so cute ?!

Bringing Your Kitten for Wellness & Vaccine Appointments 🐾

Welcoming a new kitten into your home is an exciting time, but it’s also when their health journey begins! Early wellness and vaccine appointments are key to giving your kitten the healthiest start in life. 🩺✨

At these visits, our vets will check for common health issues, provide deworming, and begin a vaccine schedule to protect against different diseases. It’s also a great time to ask questions about feeding, litter training, behavior, and more!

Bring a secure carrier, a soft blanket, and a treat or two to help your kitten feel safe and calm. 💼🧸

Healthy kittens grow into happy cats! 😺
