⭐️ A Loving Retirement Home Needed for Our Beloved Ima ⭐️
Dear Old World Siamese family,
We’re reaching out to our wonderful community with bittersweet news and a heartfelt request.
After many beautiful years as a queen in our Cattery, Ima, our stunning 9 year-old applehead Traditional Siamese, has had her final litter — and is now officially ready for retirement.
This decision does not come easy. When we started Old World Siamese, it was always our hope to keep our females into their golden years, showering them with the love and rest they deserve. But Ima has been telling us, loud and clear, that our multi-cat household is no longer where she thrives.
Over the years, Ima has shown herself to be an alpha through and through — a true matriarch with no tolerance for feline competition. While we’ve lovingly tried to manage dynamics between her, Gretel, and Kraken, the tension has escalated. Fights have broken out (yes, real ones — blood has been shed), and Ima’s stress is undeniable.
💙 What Ima needs and deserves now is a calm, loving forever home where she can be the only cat. In the right home, she will be the most loyal companion you’ve ever had. This girl is all heart with her humans — she loves to snuggle, adores long lap sessions, and will happily accept back rubs for as long as you’re willing to give them.
👑She’s regal, expressive, intelligent — and deeply bonded to her people. If you’ve ever loved one of her kittens, you already know the strong, sweet personality that runs in her line. Now it’s Ima’s turn to be pampered and treasured.
😽Breed: Purebred Applehead Traditional Siamese
😺Age: Soon 9 years
😽Temperament: Alpha female, would benefit from being an only cat, wants to be the center of attention, cuddly and loving.
😻Human Bond: Fiercely loyal, affectionate, devoted
😸Health: Active and healthy for her age, albeit a little bit on the larger side in recent years. She’d benefit from no longer be “free-fed” (and this still works for our other two cats so this makes is tricky for us as well), and instead be fed a few times a day and a limited amount.
If you or someone in your extended kitten-loving family is looking for a one-and-only feline companion with soul and spirit, please reach out. Finding the right fit for Ima is our top priority — someone who understands the breed, and who can give her the peaceful, loving retirement she truly deserves.
If interested, please Direct Message (DM) us here on our page, and introduce yourself.
With love and gratitude,
The Old World Siamese Cattery family
