Dear Happy Paws family,
It is with great sadness and regret that we must announce the upcoming closure of Happy Paws Doggy Play School.
Due to many factors (including but not limited to) a large rent increase combined with decreased attendance during the pandemic, we are no longer able to continue operation. We know this has been an extremely difficult time financially for most of our clients, as it has been for us. We have struggled through the closures and inconsistent attendance to the bitter end in attempts to push on, and unfortunately haven’t been able to recover.
As we must vacate our facility by July 25th, our last day of operation will be July 20th. We express our greatest apologies for the inconvenience this may cause, and assure you that we have fought stubbornly and searched for any alternative. We hope you all know and understand that this is the most difficult choice we’ve ever had to make as a family. It truly breaks our hearts that it has come to this.
We understand how devastating this news will be for our long time loyal clients and their beloved dogs. The impact that this will cause for not just our family, but our community, is not lost on us. Seeing your faces every morning and evening, enjoying great conversation, and loving your fur babies has been our biggest joy and privilege. As many of you may know, we have recently welcomed a baby boy into our family, so we thank you for your patience while taking the time to respond to the many messages we know we will be receiving. We are still very much processing this ourselves.
We will be eternally grateful for the love and support through all the ups and downs over the years. We could never begin to thank you properly for the loyalty, trust, love, and opportunity you have all given us. We thank you for your support and understanding through this extremely difficult and stressful time. We hope that our last couple of weeks of love and fun will live on as fond memories for all of you, as they will for us. It is also our hope that you will lean on and connect with each other to keep the very special dog friendships that have been built here alive. Though our time is being cut short, we’ve made memories that we know will live on forever.
