For the past two decades, Headon Forest Animal Hospital has been providing quality veterinary care to the dogs and cats of Burlington and exceptional service to their loving owners (parents). We are a full service veterinary hospital offering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare, modern equipment and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We are proud of the high level of care we provide and strive

to proactively help our patients live healthier, longer lives. The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization that accredits companion animal veterinary hospitals in North America. To become accredited by AAHA, our hospital must demonstrate an exceptional level of medical care and client service, and be measured against the most rigorous standards in the veterinary industry. This is an additional accreditation that is voluntary to those who strive for excellence and a higher standard of care for your pets. Only about 12% of animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada are accredited by AAHA, and we're proud to say that we're one of them!

-Open Monday-Thursday from 8AM-6PM (temporary reduced hours)
-Open Friday 8AM-5PM
- Saturdays from 8AM-12PM
-Closed Wednesdays from Noon to 1:30pm for Staff Training
-Closed for Statutory Holidays

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 For the month of June we will be offering $20 nail trims with all proceeds going towards the ROCK (reach out centre for kids) which is a non-profit mental health organization in the Halton region that supports children, youth, and families.

One of their programs is called Queer@ROCK. It’s specifically for 2SLGBTQIA+ children, teens, youth, and families. The goal is to create safer, affirming spaces where q***r and trans youth can connect with others, build confidence, and get support from mental health professionals and peers

Every year, ticks in Ontario seem to get worse and worse. So far in 2026, 145,233 ticks have been tested for Lyme disease, with 6,510 positive cases reported.

It’s so important to keep your furry friends protected with annual tick-borne illness and heartworm testing, as well as monthly prevention if they spend any time outdoors, even just in the backyard! 🐶🐱

Prevention is the best protection against serious diseases carried by ticks and mosquitoes.
