This is Stanley 🐶 He is a 6 year old Dachshund - one of the breeds most commonly predisposed to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).

IVDD is a condition where the discs between the vertebrae in the spine degenerate or herniate, causing pain, mobility issues, and potential neurological deficits such as paralysis or incontinence.

This summer Stanley’s veterinarian diagnosed him with a severe acute episode of IVDD that presented as hind end paralysis and bladder incontinence... Follow along for Stanley’s story
