Hi everyone- I haven't posted in quite a while.
Still taking in the odd horse here and there.
Here is a link to my current foster mare, I am fostering her for Mel's Farm a local foster based rescue.
We are trying to raise some funds through a Go Fund me campaign.

Sadly Duchess's family could no longer care for her and decided to surrender her to Mel's Farm All Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. https://www.melsfarm.ca Mel's Farm is a foster based rescue. Love getting updates on adopted horses!

We got an update today on little Rosie-
Rosie & her mom came to the rescue both extremly malnourished, Rosie was quite stunted in comparison to other fillies her age. She also had a few other issues going on including a severe infection in her right eye, and contracted tendons causing her hooves to be clubby.
She eventually went blind in that eye, but over time her tendons started to relax and her hooves now look really great!
Finally now as a 3.5 yr old- she is finally looking like a normal horse!

Her new family is doing an amazing job- working with her mind, body & soul.
She is extremely loved- couldn't have asked for a better home to take on this once special needs girl.

We have had a few recent inquiries about boarding.
We are no longer offering boarding at the farm for the time being.
Other commitments and the uncertainty of hay yields- we have decided to take a break.
