I’m sorry I haven’t posted on here to much lately, I’ve been posting more on my personal Facebook, however I know so people have been following along with Jake and what’s been going on with him lately.

A message from vet:

“Poor Jake is really not feeling well, and has lost a significant amount of weight.
I am concerned that he may have a cancerous process, or more significant organ disease that is causing his diarrhea, vomiting and weight loss.
We have given him fluids under the skin to improve his hydration and an injectable antinausea to perk him up. He is going home with a steroid (50 mg of prednisone) to see if we can improve the diarrhea and his appetite. It is important to monitor his quality of life, and if he is not responding well to the steroid we may need to make a difficult decision. We are here if you need us!”

If this doesn’t work, he will have to be euthanized 😭😭

Please sent prayers and thoughts as we navigate this though time. If you would like to see Jake, please let me know! 🩵
