I know a lot of people are very invested in our brave little man’s story, so I created an Instagram account for him 😂💛. This way, anyone who wants to can follow along as his new life unfolds and keep up with his updates!🐷

Our little superstar was so happy to have a comfy, safe and warm bed to sleep in last night after 4 scary nights out on the run.

His vet check yesterday went as well as we could possibly ask for! Huge thank you to Dr. Michelle for coming to assess him on such short notice💛. He has many wounds from some unfortunate dog attacks, but they are manageable and will be able to heal on their own with his pain meds and antibiotics on board. We gave him a nice warm medicated bath to clean his wounds, remove all of his ticks and make him feel fresh and clean. We are giving him all of the time he needs to rest, decompress, feel safe and build trust with us before he’s slowly integrated with our other piggy, and for now he has been enjoying the quiet and safe company of our rescue kitty Stanley💛.

We have decided to name him Neville, after a courageous character from Harry Potter. Neville was a shy, frightened and insecure young boy who grew into a brave, courageous and underestimated hero who stood up for what was right. He went against the grain, refused to surrender to what was considered normal and acceptable, stood fiercely by his friends and showed immense courage, even when he was terrified.

Chris is a big fan of the character Neville, and his story aligns very well with our little man’s courageous adventures in escaping the sales barn truck, taking a stand and avoiding becoming victim to the meat market. 💛

We’re so thankful for all of the donations that have come in towards his vet care so far! You’re all amazing💛. He is booked in at Peterborough Veterinary Services in 2 weeks for his follow up assessment, vaccine boosters and anything else he needs before booking him in for his neuter surgery.

Only good things from here, little Neville! We’ve got you buddy🥹💛.

WE GOT HIMMMM!🐷🖤

There are SO many people to thank for helping in finally getting this little piglet safe after being on the run since Sunday morning. He is now SAFE, secure and having a much needed and well deserved nap. He will be seen by a vet this afternoon as he unfortunately does have quite a few battle wounds from his adventure and was attacked by a couple of dogs along the way, as well as who knows what else while he was out in the woods, but he is overall stable and just exhausted at this point.

His owners worked very hard alongside our small team of dedicated rescuers in helping to get him safe, and he has now been surrendered into my care to happily and safely live out his life that he fought so hard for when he escaped the sales barn truck on Sunday 💛.

On top of his initial vet visits for his injuries, meds, and whatever else he needs we will also be booking him in to be neutered as soon as possible. If you’re able to contribute to our little Brighton Adventure man’s vet costs, it would be SO appreciated. E-transfers can be sent to my personal email at [email protected], or cash donations can be brought into The Local Pet Pantry for his care.

His name is to be determined! This little guy deserves a strong, special name for surviving all that he has!💛

UPDATE: SECURED!💛

‼️ MISSING PIGLET UPDATE ‼️ 10/28/2026

DO NOT CHASE if seen! He is VERY fast, small and skittish, so approaching or trying to secure only makes him run further into danger. Please call 905 / 92 4 - 55/24 with any sightings, exact time and his direction of travel. Leave a message if I don’t answer right away. We are working with the owner to live trap and get him safe as soon as possible.

Please check home/business security cameras, trail cameras and keep a close eye out when driving around Brighton! He has been scared onto main roads and we don’t want him or anyone else hurt.

Thank you for your help and cooperation in getting this little guy to safety! 🤞🏼

The bugs are backkkk out with a vengeance😖🪲 EcoSpaw Home&Pet Protector helps to eliminate pesky fleas and ticks!

“EcoSpaw Tick & Flea (Home & Pet Protector) Spray kills many types of insects but it is not poisonous to them. Rather, it affects their shells (exoskeleton). Because an insect’s exoskeleton is composed of oil based molecules, EcoSpaw nanoparticle action has the same effect on it as it would any other oil or grease molecule. It dissolves it. Because mammals, birds and reptiles are aqueous (water) based and not oil-based, EcoSpaw is absolutely harmless to humans and animals.

This future science works at the smallest possible scale known to life (one nanometer is one billion times smaller than a meter) allowing for the elimination of ticks, fleas, lice and many other insects and the bacteria they could of been carrying while completely rejuvenating and healing your pets coating and damaged skin.

Non-medicated
Pesticide-free
pH balanced
repells ticks and fleas
kills ticks and fleas on animals and in the home
relieves hotspots
removes dander
soothes and moisturises dry itchy skin”

The unscented option is dog AND cat safe!💚
