Some of you know that my son will be heading to Lativia in a few weeks for deployment. He will be gone 6 months or longer. He's my baby. As proud as I am of his achievement of fulfilling his lifelong dream at a very young 19 years of age, my heart breaks at all the possibilities of what if's.
Please keep my son and all the young men and women heading to Latvia and to other deployment areas in your prayers and thoughts.
Today we are thankful for all who gave their lives and time in honour of their country.
