March 26th update: a couple potential sightings of a dog matching Tilly have been reported in Caledon. Please watch for her within the area encompassing Old School Rd, Hwy 10, Dixie & Boston Mills. If you see a slender brindled Shepherd-like short haired dog, please note location & call immediately. Postering has been extended & all homes flyered. We are hopeful and looking to get 100% confirmation that it is Tilly. Thank you!
Tilly is a young Dutch Shepherd missing from Brampton ON since Feb 19th. She was at the Turnberry Golf Course with one of her owners when within seconds she was gone!
We are assisting with this case and need everyone’s help. Especially folks whose properties back onto green space anywhere from Heart Lake Conservation area & southward from there. See any fresh paw prints that don’t belong, or hear unusual barking? Have security cameras? Do you feed feral cats & food suddenly & unusually disappearing? Have you seen someone with a new dog matching her? (It’s not entirely impossible someone could have found her).
At a distance, Tilly could be mistaken for a coyote, so please try taking a picture if you’re unsure.
Tilly is very shy of strangers and not likely to approach, but anything is possible. She may go to another dog. She is VERY bonded with her owners Shane & Erin, and will be seeking them out. As you can imagine, they are both worried sick about her. 😢
