Headline: The numbers don't lie. 📊🐴

Here is a closer look at a horse we recently helped out. Believe it or not, the "before" photos were taken just 3 weeks after a previous shoeing, but looking closer at the digital mapping, there was a major structural issue hidden in plain sight.

In this case, 3 out of 4 feet presented with a 27-30° coronet band angle. As highlighted by Equine Documentalist , a coronet angle in this tight range indicate certainty of the horse being NPA (Negative Palmar/Plantar Angle).

Left uncorrected, an NPA posture places massive, abnormal strain on the deep digital flexor tendon (DDFT) and caudal hoof structures. Sticking to a standard calendar schedule isn't enough if the baseline geometric balance is working against the horse.

Yesterday Ashley modified some One shoes into tiny little shoes for Teddy 🧸🐴

Teddy has chronic founder and the shoes enable him to live out his life with more comfort.

The interior section of the One shoe cut down to the 75mm size we needed perfectly. Then Ashley welded on the "finger" tabs to the perimeter.
