NEW to the ADOPTION floor: River🥰
River is an 11-month-old sweetheart whose journey hasn’t always been easy. While other puppies were learning that the world was a safe and happy place, River missed out on some of the experiences that help young dogs build confidence. Because of that, meeting new people can feel a little scary for her at first. She may hang back, watch from a distance, and take her time deciding if you’re someone she can trust.
Once River warms up, she transforms into the most loving, loyal companion. Her gentle nature shines through, and she’ll happily stay close to the people she trusts. Every small victory-every tail wag, every cuddle, every moment she chooses to lean into affection-feels incredibly special because you know how hard she worked to get there.
River is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, allowing her to feel secure and focus on building a strong bond with her person. She needs someone who understands that confidence isn’t built overnight and is willing to celebrate the little steps along the way.
