🐾 Meet Theodore! 🐾
An 8 month old Husky mix.
Theo has a shy curiosity for people and things but becomes very outgoing in familiar surroundings.
He is wonderful with dogs (regularly attending doggy daycare and living with foster siblings) and has been cat tested.
He is shy of strangers but remains neutral when he's around them. He is a little sensitive, particularly in new situations and is shy of handling and will need someone who is patient. Once he comes out of his shell, he is a very playful, cuddly puppy. He loves playing with current foster family dogs and settles nicely when hanging around the house.
He enjoys chewing bones, playing with tug toys, and training sessions. Theo is food motivated and learns quickly. He is always up for hikes and although he is still learning his name, he does really well on trail walks (and enjoys getting muddy!). He enjoys his role in customer service, greeting all the clients when he hangs out at the reception desk at K9 Central! He is currently learning many important skills, including sit/down, impulse control, leash manners, and of course his handling skills. He has gone to pet-friendly stores and does well in public.
He is potty trained and working on his crate training! He does well in a crate if you're within his sight, but will sometimes howl or struggle to settle if he is in another room. He is available for adoption through no fault of his own.
Theo is an amazing dog and we are hoping he finds his forever people!
