Aujourd'hui, je prends un moment pour célébrer tous les animaux de compagnie seniors ! Reconnaître à quel point ils ont besoin de nos soins et de notre tendresse, et à quel point ils peuvent être aimants en retour. Voici une photo récemment prise pour célébrer ma chienne, Emma, pour son 20e anniversaire ! Elle est un véritable témoignage de ce que la médecine conventionnelle et alternative peut faire pour aider un animal de compagnie vieillissant à vivre sa meilleure vie.

Today, I take a moment to celebrate all senior pets! To recognize how much they need our care and tenderness, and how loving they can be in return. Here is a photo recently taken to celebrate my dog, Emma, on her 20th birthday! She is a true testament to what conventional and alternative medicine can to do help an aging pet live their best life.

Voici Nalha, une petite fille courageuse qui a récemment souffert d'une paralysie complète de ses deux pattes arrière (une hernie discale était suspectée). Avec l'aide de la médecine traditionnelle (médication et thérapie au laser) ainsi que de la médecine complémentaire (ostéopathie et acupuncture), Nalha s'en est presque complètement remise et marche fièrement. Félicitations Nalha !

Meet Nalha, a brave little girl who recent suffered from complete paralysis of both her hind legs (a herniated disc was suspected). With the help of traditional medicine (medication and laser therapy) as well as complimentary medicine (osteopathy and acupuncture) Nalha has nearly recovered completely from this and is walking proudly. Congratulations Nalha!

Voici la fantastique Yepa ! Elle a consulté au printemps pour une boiterie d'origine inconnue, et a depuis cessé de boiter après un traitement. C'est une chienne belle et légèrement anxieuse, mais elle était merveilleusement courageuse et a fait un excellent travail pendant notre session. Très fier d'elle !

Here is the glorious Yepa! She consulted in spring for a limp of unknown origin, and has since stopped limping after one treatment. She is a beautiful and slightly anxious dog, but she was wonderfully brave and did an excellent job during our session. Very proud of her!

Bonjour Giga ! Ce charmant Sh*tzu senior a des douleurs récurrentes au cou, soupçonnées de provenir de son genou. Quand il était à son pire, il était très sensible aux aiguilles d'acupuncture et avait besoin de types spéciaux. Mais il est maintenant plus comfortable et brave et a fait un excellent travail avec les aiguille standard (identifié en bleu)! Très fier de lui 😊

Welcome back Giga! This lovely senior Sh*tzu has recurrent neck pain suspected to originate from his knee. When he was at his worst, he was very sensitive to acupuncture needles and required special types. But he’s now graduated to big boy needles (identified in blue) and did such a great job! Very proud of him 😊

Voici le délicieux Fuzyn ! Ce tout petit chien, âgé de près de dix ans, éprouve des douleurs aux quatre membres et vient pour des traitements toutes les 6 à 8 semaines afin de l'aider à se sentir au mieux de sa forme et à paraître plus jeune et magnifique!

Presenting the absolutely scrumptious Fuzyn! This tiniest of dogs near a decade old, has discomfort with his 4 limbs and comes for treatments every 6-8 weeks to help him feel his best and youngest self!

Voici le magnifique Maki. Une fille vieillissante, mais avec tout du charme ! Elle souffre d'arthrite, de douleurs aux jambes et au dos. Elle accepte très bien ses aiguilles d'acupuncture et s'est sentie beaucoup mieux après son traitement ostéopathique/acupuncture. Quelle belle dame!

Meet the magnificent Maki. An aging gal but with all the charm! She suffers from arthritis, leg and back pain. She accepts her acupuncture needles very well and has felt much better after her
osteopathic/acupuncture treatment.

Voici Mylo, un beau petit cœur avec beaucoup de chose à dire ! Il a été vu pour une tension du bas du dos et des problèmes de comportement. Depuis son traitement, il est plus comfortable, mange mieux et dort plus profondément. Félicitations Mylo !

Meet Mylo, a beautiful little heart with a lot of s***k! He was seen for tension of his lower back and behaviour issues. Since his treatment he has been more spry, eating better, and sleeper deeper. Congrats Mylo!

Voici Symba, il souffre de maux de dos et traîne parfois ses pattes arrière. Il a été vu par des spécialistes en neurologie et en chirurgie, et a subi une IRM. La cause exacte de sa douleur reste inconnu. Après un traitement en ostéopathie et en acupuncture, Symba semble maintenant beaucoup plus à l'aise, marche mieux et a plus d'énergie. Félicitations Symba !

Meet Symba, he has been suffering from back pain and at times dragging his hind legs. He was seen by specialists in neurology and surgery, and had an MRI. The exact cause of his pain remained unclear. Following a treatment in osteopathy and acupuncture, Symba now seems much more comfortable, walking better, and and has more spritely energy. Congratulations Symba!

Bienvenue Giga, un chien âgé et un vrai chanteur d'opéra à coeur ! Il souffre d’une douleur importante au cou et n'est pas capable de placer son bras avant droit correctement. Ce fut un honneur de le traiter !

Welcome Giga, a senior dog and true opera singer at heart! He has been struggling with significant neck pain and not capable of placing his right front arm straight. It was a honour to treat him!

Voici le beau Marley, un vrai Hugh Hefner à fourrure dans son chez lui. Marley souffre de dysplasie bilatérale des hanche et de neuropathie dégénérative affectant ses pattes arrières. Il aime ses traitements d'acupuncture et d'ostéopathie, ce qui l'aide à être à son meilleur avec la façon dont il est.

Meet the handsome Marley, a real furry Hugh Hefner of his household. Marley suffers from bilateral hip dysplasia and degenerative neuropathie affecting his back limbs. He enjoys his acupuncture and osteopathy treatments, helping him be at his best with the way he is.
