We are now offering Capeston Mr Darcy to a few outside mares this season. He is a purebred black dun/grulla Irish Draught stallion. As we wanted his first foal, he’s been just used for our own mares so far, and one has now been successful on his first attempt (waiting for second).

Mr Darcy is 4 years old, 16.3hh, expected to mature 17hh. His sire is Cloneyhea Spellbound C1 and dam is Black Cat Kelly. He has a puppy dog personality, and a quiet nature. He has a straight and correct movement, with a ground covering stride. He will be inspected this Fall in Canada.

The definition of ‘in your pocket’ … Capeston Mr Darcy showing how it’s done. Paul had to lock him out as he was working on the overhang for the row barn (boys shelter in winter). The other side was still open so this is where Darcy spent most of the day 😍
