Severin Pederson's 3R's training program Severin is a truly multi-discipline trainer. He offers clinics, lessons, training, c**t starting and problem solving with a passion to educate & inspire.

Severin Pederson of 3R's Training Program has been helping horses and riders develop a true partnership for over 20 years. Severin began his formal training in steer wrestling, calf roping and team roping after earning a full scholarship to Odessa Junior College in Texas. He eventually went on to win the Junior World Timed Event Championship. Severin is a three time winner of the "Trainer of the N

orth Challenge", an accomplished barrel racer and has qualified for the World Series of Team Roping in Las Vegas on multiple occasions. He also works in the television and film industry as a stunt rider and wrangler. Some of his projects include: Strange Empire, The 100, and Legends of Tomorrow. Severin holds many clinics throughout the year at his family's ranch in Black Creek, as well as surrounding areas. He is known as "the go to guy" when horse owners and trainers have a problem they cannot solve. As a result of his focus on feel, timing, balance, and release, Severin is a truly multi-discipline trainer. His natural talent for horsemanship is reflected in his passion to educate, motivate, and inspire riders and horses.

This weekend Severin Pederson and I will be down at Valparaiso in Duncan again! We are offering a roping school to just 8 people for 2 to 3 hours each evening. No experience necessary. No live cattle. Learn the basic fundamentals of how to swing a rope and catch a dummy. Friday night is ground work only for just $20!
Severin is an excellent coach and clinician. He holds multiple BCTRA & WSTR Championships. He has roped with the best of the best all over North America. He is a wealth of knowledge and experience.

We had a busy day yesterday between The barrel race at Innes' Arena and the clinic here at home. I want to thank Lindsey Innes for putting on this great race and congratulate Quinlan on running the fastest time of the day, winning the race on Mota! Jackie won the 4D in the open, Gracie won 2nd in the open & Jr 4D, Lexi won 5th in the Junior 4D, and Adalyn won the 4D in the peewee's. Many of our students had a successful day at the barrel race and we are so proud of all of you! We will be teaching day 2 of the clinic today at home. Come and say hi, and watch the great group of ladies working on thier horsemanship this weekend.
